  Yes — Beach Getaways has partnered with RentalGuardian to give you access to optional travel protection plans. 1 in 6 travelers hit an unforeseen disruption, but you can book with confidence knowing your whole party is protected under one plan. Travel protection insures you against unforeseen circumstances that cause trip cancellation, delays, lost baggage, and emergency medical costs — covering you and your vacation investment whether the disruption happens before you leave home or after you arrive. Covered reasons include: the sudden illness or death of a traveler, family member, or travel companion; a hurricane, tropical storm, or other natural disaster that triggers a mandatory evacuation or makes your destination inaccessible; a job loss, specified legal obligation, or other qualifying unforeseen event; travel delays, missed connections, or lost, damaged, or delayed baggage; or emergency medical expenses incurred while you're away from home. The plan cost is 7.5% of total booking charges.

• Do you offer travel protection with Cancel for Any Reason (CFAR)?

  Yes! Want more flexibility? Upgrade to Cancel For Any Reason (CFAR)†. The base plan reimburses 100% of covered, prepaid trip costs when a trip is cancelled, interrupted, or delayed for a reason specified in the plan. The CFAR provision adds flexibility beyond that list: if the guest cancels for any reason at all — forecast rain, a cancelled event, a simple change of plans — the CFAR benefit generally reimburses a substantial portion of prepaid, non-refundable trip costs. The Trip Cancellation Insurance offer is available at 7.5% of total booking charges. Plans with the Cancel For Any Reason (CFAR) upgrade — which adds the ability to cancel for reasons not otherwise specified as covered — are available at 11.25% of total booking charges. • Who underwrites the Travel Protection offered?

  Offers of optional travel protection plans are underwritten by United States Fire Insurance Company (US residents), with equivalent coverage available for Canadian residents and guests from other approved countries. Coverage for residents outside of the US and Canada is offered by UnitedHealthcare Global through ITA Global Trust Ltd. As Trustee of the Global Solutions Insurance Trust. Cancel For Any Reason (CFAR) plans must be purchased within 14 days of booking; no CFAR plan is available within 30 days of your arrival date. Standard travel protection can be purchased at any time up to 30 days prior to check-in — if you're booking within 30 days of arrival, you can still purchase standard travel protection as long as you do so at the time of booking. No plan offered here may be purchased on the day of check-in. Coverage for US residents is subject to a 15-day free-look period; after that review period ends, the cost of the plan is non-refundable.
